More than an athlete, Zaguinha is an artist !

Making a rare art out of soccer, Manoel da Silva, the Mané Zaguinha, or simply Zaguinha as he is known, was born on 03.01.52, in the city of Murici - in the state of Alagoas, state of Paraná, Brasil, and at 9 years old went to the small city (that was starting its growths ) of Loanda, in the southern state of Paraná, having made a short stop in São Roque - São Paulo, where he lived for only 3 years.

His speciality : the juggling !

Making presentations in public places, like schools, streets, squares, in 1995 he went to São Paulo, where, like he was imagining, the opportunities were much bigger.

Having total control of the juggling art, which consist in combinig technique with creativity and balance, Zaguinha controls any round object to a perfection level.

An unusual show The exhibition of juggling with the soccer ball leads the public to delirium. What Zaguinha performs in these shows is something fanthastic,unbelievable. Even those people who don't like soccer, become really enchanted.
There are more than 23 different types of juggling, only using a soccer ball, parading one by one in front of the crowd.

We, the brazilians, should be proud of this athlete and artist, as well as or this special type of sport-art, whichprovides a true pleasure to everyone who appreciates an hability performed with care, like Zaguinha does .
